Things Are Not What They Seem. Reality or Fantasy?
In Hinduism, they say the world is an illusion. That things are not what they seem. There is a reality that is beyond the perception of human beings. We can only perceive what our small minds can fathom.
So what does that have to do with relationships and conflict? Well, if what we see is a figment of our imagination and not reality, how are we going to tackle problems that, after all, exist in a real world? Are we aware of what is going on? Or are we living in a world that is imagined?
Do we see beyond words, beyond images, try to understand what is going on in our partner’s life? It is not easy when we are often not sure of our own selves. But there has to be an effort from both sides to look at things for what they are. If he wants to watch a football match, it’s because he likes football, not because he doesn’t like spending time with you. If she is having an affair it might be because you are not spending any time with her and have not cared about her, and she has finally decided to find herself something meaningful. There
